VOM

Not really sure how many of you were there but certainly pete, charlie and I were fortunate enough to see this glaswegian three piece supporting quack quack in the captains rest. They came on with no one even noticing and slowly started, with a barely audible bass riff and an almost non-existent noodling on the guitar and out of nowhere they built it into a towering barrage of sound. they were fucking good, total mathy drone rock. All the things i tend to like about the world really. I had all but forgotten about this band having initially tried to find something out about them coming to nothing i gave up the search. Trusty monorail came to the rescue the other day however providing me with their demo, for a mere five pounds i might add. TI is as good as i hoped. and thus i pass it along to you.
